Computer & STEM Specialist

Saint Boniface School is seeking a full-time Computer & STEM Specialist. The position follows the 2025-2026 school year calendar. The position is from 7:30 AM -3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, following the academic school day calendar.

Position Description

The computer specialist will complete duties as directed by the principal. These duties include but are not limited to the following:

Instruction:

The computer specialist will

Use technology to promote learning, creativity, and collaboration.
Organize, plan, and implement instruction in keyboarding, general computer knowledge, and STEM for all students
Instruct students following the approved computer curriculum
Attend professional development to enhance computer and STEM literacy and knowledge
Plan, develop, and instruct STEM lessons
Deliver STEM-oriented instruction through project-based learning methods.

Other Duties:

The computer specialist will:

supervise students from 7:30 AM-8:25 AM in the school entryway
supervise recess 11:40-12:15
supervise students from 2:45 PM-3:00 PM in the end-of-day pick-up line
Other duties assigned by the principal

Lunch Room Assistant

Saint Boniface School in Cold Spring, MN is seeking a part-time Lunch Room Assistant. The position follows the academic school year calendar. The position is from 10:45 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

PRIMARY FUNCTION: The lunch room service assistant in the school lunch program assists the Lead Cook/Food Service Manager in the serving of the hot lunch program.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Computer Operations and Lunch Accounts
Clean Up
Other Duties
Positive professional interaction with students, school staff, parish staff, and parents.

SUMMARY OF KEY DUTIES:

1. Food Preparation and Service

Fill and refill for condiments
Assist with meal preparation as needed
Set up serving line and serve food in line as needed

2. Computer Operations and Lunch Accounts

Set up EZ app each day -input menu
Input class meal counts daily
Monitor student accounts during lunch serving time
Key in lunch numbers or assist students in keying in numbers

3. Clean Up

Wipe counters and lunchroom tables and chairs
Put away dishes and pans as needed
Move tables and mop floors

4. Other Duties

Help put away products
Complete other tasks as assigned by the Kitchen Manager

5. Positive professional interaction with students, school staff, parish staff, and parents.

POSITION-HOLDER QUALIFICATIONS

Education: high school graduation and some knowledge of health regulations.

Experience: none needed but food preparation knowledge preferred

Skills: ability to follow directions and complete tasks assigned in a positive, efficient manner.

Initiative: self-motivated, able to work in a people-centered community.

Judgment: must exercise confidentiality in all matters, must exercise good judgment in all phases of the job.

Characteristics: flexible, adaptable, resourceful, friendly, conscientious.

Substitute Teachers Needed

We are looking for substitutes who are energetic and love working with K-6 students.

Requirements: 4-year degree or the equivalent, or a short/long-term substitute license.
